What sizes and styles of copper gutters do you install?
We install 5- and 6-inch copper gutters in K-style and half-round profiles, in 16 oz or 20 oz copper, with matching copper downspouts.
What’s the difference between 16 oz and 20 oz copper?
The number is the weight of one square foot of the copper sheet. 20 oz copper is thicker and stiffer than 16 oz. We’ll talk through which one suits your house at the estimate.
Will my copper gutters turn green?
Over time, yes. New copper is bright and shiny. As it weathers it darkens, and over the years it can develop the blue-green patina copper is known for. The patina also protects the metal underneath.
Can you put gutter guards on copper gutters?
Yes. We install gutter guards on copper systems, including Ply Gem Leaf Relief, along with other options.
Is there a less expensive option that looks like copper?
Yes. Our copper-look gutters are aluminum with a copper-colored finish, in K-style or half-round. They cost less than real copper and keep their color. See the colors.
