How K-Screen works.
K-Screen is a sheet of expanded steel with a baked-on powder coat. Its small holes let rain into the gutter and deflect leaves, so they don’t build up inside. It comes in 4-foot lengths and snaps into place without screws or fasteners, in a flat profile or a ridged snap-in profile.

What is K-Screen?

How much rain can K-Screen handle?
The manufacturer tests every K-Screen design on a rain test roof at 12 inches of rain an hour, and the screen sends the water down into the gutter.
What does the K-Screen warranty cover?
The manufacturer warrants the baked-on powder-coated finish against rust, chips, peeling or cracking for 6 years from the date of installation. It’s a finish warranty, not a promise that the gutters won’t clog. Read the warranty.
Will K-Screen change how my house looks?
Not much. It has a low profile and sits flat on top of the gutter, so it’s hard to see from the ground.
What gutters does K-Screen fit?
All gutter styles in 5-, 6- and 7-inch sizes, on new or existing gutters. It comes in a flat profile and a ridged snap-in profile.
Does K-Screen need screws or fasteners?
No. It snaps into place in the gutter.
Can I install K-Screen myself?
The manufacturer recommends a trained installer, because the installation technique depends on the gutter and the roof. We check, clean and tighten your gutters before the screens go on.
How much does K-Screen cost?
It’s the lowest-cost guard we install. The price depends on how many feet of gutter you have, so we measure at your free estimate and give you a written proposal with a firm price.
How does K-Screen compare to Bulldog?
K-Screen costs less and keeps out leaves and larger debris, with a 6-year finish warranty. Bulldog is an aluminum insert with tiny pores and a registered 25-year warranty that covers both the finish and clogging. We bring samples of both.
Is K-Screen maintenance-free?
No gutter guard is. Screens cut down on cleaning, but the top may need an occasional sweep. If you’d rather not have guards, we also offer gutter cleaning contracts.
